(This coming from a former one, and yes I was grossly ignorant at the time of a couple critical facts. Which no one told me, I had to discover them on my own, they are as follows.) “Libertarianism” is a completely purpose built ideology promoted and invented EXPRESSLY to be the “philosophy” behind corporate deregulation the corporations knew they’d have to obfuscate somehow. This is documented and easily proven.
But then again the kinds of people that believe in sky santa hardcore and tickle down weren’t the sharpest pencils in the tray to begin with. /smh
Not to mention the whole idea is absurd. It’s just anarchy + delusion/dishonesty/hypocrisy. The purest form of libertarianism is called anarcho-capitalism. And since capitalism is just a market, there’s no difference between ancap and anarchy. It’s just a smoke screen for corporate agenda. We need a state to prevent common good problems. Neither pure democracy nor anarchy/libertarianism prevent that. This is why the current market and by extension the government has detached from pursuits that serve humanity.
